My oldest is camera shy. Could it have something to do with have photographers for parents? Nah! It’s obviously something to do with his unique personality… I mean, being subjected to having your photo taken all the time is just a part of life. It’s what happens. These days I’m feeling like he’s under documented {if that is possible}. There are thousands of photos of his little sister, but of him… not so many. And the photos I do have involve strange faces and the blur of him running from the camera… so… when Daniel got a few good photos of him recently, I had to celebrate with a layout!

My two youngest absolutely love to be outdoors more than anything! They both love creatures, exploring and nature… I love that!! I also love the closeness these two share…I am blessed to have an 8 year old that takes time for his little sister and truly cares for her from his heart.
you can find the supplies I used for this here.
More hybrid Christmas fun!

So when I saw these cards from Carina Gardner… I knew right away I had to do something with them. I think I can justify creating a project around a digital product that jumps out at me like some women buy shoes. However, I do think that my little addiction is a tad less expensive… ‘course that’s after the Mac…Photoshop…the Wacom tablet… ok, maybe I should go out and buy some shoes.
Holiday Hybrid Project!

I guess I’m in the hybrid kind of mood these days! Christmas just needs hybrid projects I think! I decided to make some holiday magnets to give away and then after I made those I thought it would be nice to have some coordinating note paper to go with the magnets! Once I put the 2 together it felt like a pretty nice little hostess gift or maybe a teachers gift… Here’s how they came out:

2011 Hybrid Calendar/Planner
Wednesday, December 1st, 2010
I had a coupon for a 8×8 book through Shutterfly and I was stumped with what to do with it because I’m planning to print all of my 12×12 layouts from the year this year and I didn’t really want to duplicate those in a smaller book. So I thought of what I could really use and came up with a personal calendar/planner for the year. It has 22 pages in all and I left some of the designed pages pretty open in case I want to write on them or add embellishments. I’m pretty excited about it! I love the idea of a personalized planner for next year!! For the supplies I used for this project go here!
