Completely Random

Here is my most recent layout using the fabulous Crystal’s November line of products.  Last November we took a trip to the Oregon coast and I have to say it was amazing.  It was our first time to visit Oregon and what a beautiful state!!  The light throughout the trip was so striking even though it was a tad cold.  I’m trying to go back and document that vacation… so keep your eye out for more pages with the November Oregon trip featured!!!  Until next time…

Today D and I were talking to some folks about Africa and the many needs there and specifically the children.  And I realized that here at completelyrandom I’m actually not very random at all sometimes!!  I mean, I am layout heavy I would say… I need to post something random.  So here it goes… some photos from D’s trip to Uganda, Africa this summer.  He was there for 10 days documenting life at the Musana Children’s Home with videographer Jess Stainbrook.  Here are some of the awesome images from his trip.

Anyone else a big fan of October??  I am.  Love the temperature, the colors and esp. the light.  Absolutely tops in my book.  I wish I could capture October’s Light and put it in a bottle.  Then when the dreary days of winter come I could shake a little out, like glitter, on my day.

We have a bunch of these pieces of photo furniture that we used for Bridal Shows in days gone by and the other day as I was searching for something with the right colors to go in our tv room and I had this sudden inspiration!!  Why not pick out the perfect colors for the room and just print the papers to go in this photo furniture?  And that is exactly what I did.  To find all of the papers I used for this go here.

This is from a few years back… {I’ve been digging into the archives cause I feel like I missed years of telling stories}…2008 to be exact.  It was one of those first warmish days in February and my boys were bursting with energy and so ready to get out of the house!!  They had a conspiracy going against me and my camera I’m pretty sure… but I slipped a few photos in!!!    I sure do love these 2.
