Completely Random

So, I don’t know if you are like me, but I never seem to have cards on hand for special occasions when I need them!! UNLESS I’ve pre-made them and they are in the wings waiting!  If I get invited to one I’ll go to a card exchange party… or just schedule some time with a friend to put together a bunch of cards in one sitting.  But these days with all the hybrid options available there are some awesome digital templates for cards.  Here are a few examples of cards I made lately using iKari’s Volume 2 Cards.  For the supplies I used for these cards go here.

Hard to believe my little boy is turning 8 in a few short weeks!  It’s a tradition of ours that I typically make an invitation for the boys for their birthday party.  They get to choose the theme and I get to have fun creating!!  I think this might be the third year in a row of an amphibian theme for Ben!!  Yep, that boy LOVES toads, salamanders, lizards, frogs and all things slimy!!  I wanted to document the postcard we made to mail out so I turned it into a layout!!  Smart eh?  Anyway, in case you don’t get a real live invite in the mail, here’s what it looked like:

Ok, so I’m pushing it to say this haircut is new, cause Auntie Hilary cut it in May, but the photos are new!!!  So that’s got to count for something right?  It’s super cute and everyone who sees it loves it, so it definitely deserved some documentation and here it is!

Well… I guess we’re well into July eh?  Has your July been like mine?  What?  We’re not in the last week of June anymore?  Yep, it’s been a bit on the busy side here.  I’m hoping to get back to documenting some fragments of summer here soon!  As soon as I do I promise to post the results!!!  Of course, just cause I’m not posting here doesn’t mean I’m not doing creative stuff…!    Here’s a sample of what I’ve been working on for VERGE…
