Hey all!  I hope you had fun last weekend bloghopping!!  Pretty cool idea I’d have to say!

Ok… so after creating the quickpage I had up here on my blog and all the excitement of the weekend, I decided to take it easy and kick back with an awesome template from the Queen of Quirk.  She also has a paper pack and an elements pack that complement this template, so check that out here for sure.

I used her Scrap Canvas – Broken Column template to remember our 13th anniversary last year.  We had the joy and honor of capturing the wedding of a dear friend and awesome fellow photographer in Kona, HI.  We spent some time after the wedding celebrating 13 years ourselves and just feeling blessed!!

I was looking back thru some older photos the other day and came across this one and I knew it needed it’s own layout!!  This is my little one {who isn’t so little anymore} camping up the Poudre in 2008.  This trip was/is very dear to my heart as it was the last camping trip I ever took with my dad.  We had a GREAT time… I took a lot of photos and those photos are super precious to me.  I am SO glad I made the extra effort on that trip to lug around the camera when I am often tempted to leave it behind so that I can get a break from photography.

I’ve been playing a little bit with some new photo ideas lately… I’ve got a lot of ideas stuffed inside my head, but no time to let them out!!  Very frustrating!  The tyranny of the urgent for sure.  I should know better than to hope for any kind of margin of time during wedding season, but hope springs eternal…

Anyway, just for the fun of it here is an image I was playing with this week…
