Completely Random

So… sometimes the whole Living Social deal thing can go wrong!  I saw this deal for a 18×23 metal print for $39 on Living Social and I wanted to design something as a thank you for a friend… and so I ordered it… good price.  Then I thought I hadn’t clicked the order button so I hit it again and voila! I had ordered 2!  Yep.  So, I thought to myself… “Hey, I wanted some new wall art anyway!”

If I could just do stuff like this all day, I would be one happy soul!    I wanted to give a friend something… something unique… something I couldn’t buy at Target… something that said I value you!  So I came up with this…

You know that if you grow up with 2 older brothers you will at some point become the warrior princess.  It’s inevitable.  One day you will pick up a stick and hold your ground.  And when that day comes I hope you can defend your realm successfully… cause it’s not easy to do!  Brothers have a way of proving that too!!

Last weekend we took some time out to drive up {or is it down??} to the Natural Bridge at the Red River Gorge.  Such great color we had!!!  And I’m so glad we went when we did, cause I think all the leaves came off the trees this last week…

Last fall we were in the Czech Republic… hard to believe a year is gone already!  Yesterday Grace heard a train whistle and she said, “That reminds me of Czech!  I miss Czech… I liked riding the trains!”  Me too…and I loved photographing everything!!  Wish I could have had a few more photography outings into a few more cities/villages/towns…

feeling a tad homesick this week… a little over one week since we left FTC.  There’s nothing quite like Colorado in the fall.  I did get to see a little color the last weekend we were home up on Trail Ridge but I’m wishin’ for that scenic drive to the Rockies right about now…
